More than 200 events will be held on May 9 in Minsk Oblast

The big regional holiday will take place in Zhodino.

The event will open a parade on foot with the participation of cadets, a mechanized column of weapons, labor collectives and public associations. It will serve as a prologue to another important date - the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

Flowers and wreaths will be laid at the memorial signs and burial places - and there are more than 1,800 of them in the Minsk Region.

Residents of the central region will take part in the traditional action “Belarus remembers”. Within its framework, each Belarusian will be able to pay tribute to the memory of the heroes of the war, who made an invaluable contribution to the liberation of our country. This is a tribute to the feat of our veterans and the original, nationwide project, coming from the heart and soul.

By tradition, we intend to celebrate a large public holiday widely in all 22 districts of the region: in addition to large-scale events designed to gather thousands of spectators, hundreds of cozy holidays will be held in all settlements of Minsk oblast. Concert entertainment programs, sports competitions, exhibitions, contests and games for holidaymakers are scheduled at numerous venues in the area.

In Kopyl District, an Alley of courage and courage will be opened, and in Old Roads, the best students will be recruited into the ranks of the Republican Pioneer Organization. Thematic motor races will be held in Pukhovichi, Soligorsk, Uzde. Bike trials are planned in many regions.

The action “Candle of Memory” will be held in Vileyka, and in Volozhyn a creative marathon will start “To the Native Land we Sing Glory.” At the rally, Krupsky district will be presented with the agenda of recruits, insignia and certificates - pupils of the military-patriotic club "Rubezh". An exhibition of drawings and posters "How good in the world without war" will open in Nesvizh District.

Concert programs with the participation of amateur and professional performers and groups will be the decoration of the holiday in each of the districts of the Minsk region. On the open area there will be a big festive fair with treats and souvenirs.

Dozens of fireworks lights will decorate the sky in Borisov, Kopyl, Smolevichi, Soligorsk and Cherven districts.
